Native to Indonesia and bred in Spain, the Myronides glaucus is a jewel of the phasmid world. This species stands out for its ease of maintenance and, above all, for the impressive metallic blue color of adult females, which contrasts with the more subtle brown hue of the males.
They reach up to 10 cm in length in their adult stage and complete their development in approximately 5 months, with males undergoing 6 moults (L6) and females 7 (L7) . As adults, they can live up to 12 more months .

Terrarium: at least 3 times its length in height and 2 times its width.

Humidity: around 75% .

Food: bramble leaves (Rubus spp.) and rose (Rosa spp.) , available all year round.
