Complete chameleon terrarium

The complete chameleon terrarium is the basic pack for getting started with chameleons: it sets up in no time and includes the essentials for a healthy, safe environment from day one. Its lighting uses a compact UVB bulb in a dome. It is suitable for Furcifer pardalis (panther chameleon), Chamaeleo calyptratus (Yemen chameleon), Trioceros jacksonii, T. hoehnelii and related species. All that's left is to decorate it with plants, branches and vines.

What does the basic complete chameleon terrarium include?

• Terrarium: black aluminium and metal mesh, 45x45x80 cm or 50x50x100 cm. The mesh provides ample ventilation, which is essential to prevent respiratory problems.
• Domes: 2 with lamp holders, one for the UVB and another for the heat.
• 26W UVB 5.0 bulb: for synthesising vitamin D3 and absorbing calcium.
• Heat spot: creates the temperature gradient the chameleon uses to thermoregulate.
• Digital thermometer with probe: measures the temperature of the hot spot.

If you also want to measure humidity and have the UVB delivered by a tube, there is the professional complete chameleon terrarium.
