Clay substrate (burrowing reptiles)

The clay substrate for burrowing reptiles is 100% natural clay, with no additives, dyes or chemicals, designed for species that dig and build burrows. With water it can be moulded to create tunnels, dunes and hides and, once dry, it holds its structure without collapsing, so the animal can dig as it would in the wild. It is sold in 4.5 Kg and 9 Kg bags.

• Preparation: add water, let the clay absorb it and then shape it.
• Maintenance: dampen it lightly from time to time to keep it firm and stop it cracking.
