Day and night lighting kit for reptiles - 24h control, professional

The professional day and night lighting kit automates the vivarium's light and temperature around the clock, for tropical or desert reptiles. What sets it apart from the standard day and night kit is the thermostat: digital, with probe and a day/night function, it maintains a programmed temperature during the day, lets it drop at night and regulates the ceramic gradually.

What comes in the professional kit?

Two lamp domes, a compact UVB bulb (5.0 if the species is tropical, 10.0 if it is a desert one), a ceramic bulb that emits no light, in wattages of 25, 50, 75, 100 and 150 W, and the digital thermostat with probe and day/night function.

How does the professional day and night kit operate?

In the daytime, the professional kit switches on the UVB bulb and the thermostat sustains the temperature you have programmed. When night falls the light goes off and the ceramic, without lighting up, keeps the night-time temperature: this respects the animal's natural cycle and the temperature drop many species need. The dimming thermostat adjusts the power little by little, without abrupt switching on and off, which extends the ceramic's service life and optimises electricity consumption.

It accepts the same species as the standard kit, from chameleons, iguanas and bearded dragons to tortoises and aquatic turtles, monitors, tegus, uromastyx or certain snakes that need a UVB supply.
