Calcium for reptiles (without D3)

Zoo Med calcium without D3 is a powdered supplement for reptiles and amphibians that already have a suitable UVB source. With that radiation they make vitamin D3 themselves, which is why a calcium that leaves it out is advisable: that way it does not build up in excess when you supplement. It helps look after bones, muscles and metabolism and prevent metabolic diseases, since calcium deficiency is among the most frequent nutritional failings in captivity.
