Originally from Vietnam but bred in Spain, this beautiful stick insect stands out for its unusual blue hue and its ease of care, making it a perfect choice for beginners starting out in phasmid breeding. Only female specimens are known, which will lay eggs from which more females will be born parthenogenetically.
It reaches 10 cm in length in the adult stage.

Terrarium: recommended 3 times its height and 2 times its width

Food: bramble and rose (young leaves)

Development: They are born as nymphs (L1), males (L5) moult 5 times and females (L6) 6 times, completing their development in about 5 months.

Life expectancy: up to 10 months in adulthood
- As with many species of stick insects, they may lose a limb, but they regenerate it without problem during subsequent molts.
A curious species, easy to maintain and very grateful to observe its entire life cycle at home 🌿
