Orchid Mantis (Hymenopus coronatus)

Beautiful and striking flower mantis native to Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Burma and Sumatra. but raised in Spain, as an adult it will dry beautiful colors that imitate being a part of a flower.

They will need a terrarium 2 times their body width and 3 times height, with a humidity of 70%. and a temperature of 22 to 28ºC.

As adults they measure about 7 cm in the case of females and 2.5 cm in the case of males.

They feed on insects according to their size, starting with Drosophila melanogaster or funebris.
