Drosophila hydei are small flies, slightly larger than melanogaster , and black in color. This culture contains flies with atrophied wings (they are flightless), which greatly facilitates their use as live food in terrariums and breeding facilities.

Perfect for feeding early-stage mantises, dendrobates, newborn chameleons, etc.

📦 Important : Due to its fragility, we cannot guarantee that the crop will arrive in perfect condition. It may arrive overturned, with a torn napkin, or without live flies and larvae in summer.
👉 In that case, simply replace the napkin and keep the sealed container in a warm place. New larvae will emerge in a few days thanks to the eggs already inside.
