The Phidippus regius , commonly known as the royal jumping spider , is a species native to North America, Central America and the West Indies, although the specimens we offer are bred in captivity , which guarantees healthy, well-adapted animals with no impact on wild populations.
As an adult, their size varies between 15 and 25 mm , with the female usually larger than the male. This species exhibits a calm and inquisitive demeanor, ideal for those looking to get started in the world of invertebrates or expand their collection with an active species that interacts a lot with its environment.
🕷️Basic care:

Small but well-ventilated terrarium (does not need much space), one of 12x12x22cm for an adult would be enough.

Ideal temperature between 22-28 ºC .

Moderate humidity, with occasional spraying.

Simple feeding based on live insects according to the size of the spider (flies, crickets, etc.).

It does not require special substrates, although it appreciates elements where it can climb and hide.
Phidippus regius poses no risk to humans . It is a completely harmless and safe species .
